Churdhar peak and wild life sanctuary: Churdhar is also called Chur Chandni, which means mountain dressed in moonlight. From the summit, you get a panoramic view of the lowland tracts on the south and snow clad ranges, including the peaks of Badrinath and Kedarnath in the Garhwal region towards the north.One can also enjoy the view of Gangetic plains, the Sutlej River and hills of Shimla and Chakrata on a bright sunny day. Below the summit is a deodar-roofed temple of Srigul housing a lingam dedicated to Lord Shiva (Chooreshwar Mahadev). The peak is famous Trekking destination. It is 24km by road to Sarain,8 km walk (6 hours up, 4 hours down)
Sarain: A well-defined trail from Sarain leads you through deodar trees. Famous for Bijat Maharaj Temple and picturesque villages along terraced fields,apple orchards, waterfalls and Chir (pine) forests. It is 24km by road,approx 45 minutes from Shalvi river resort.
Daiya: Deiya village,18 km from Shalvi River Resort approx 45 minutes by road. Drive through dense Chir (pine) forests. Enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains and outer Himalayas. Meet the local people and know about their culture and traditions.
Basa: Visit to the pomegranate farms and a heritage house of the host.
Marogh: Rated among Asias richest village. Visit Apple orchards.
Hathkoti: Famous for Goddess Durga temple and some ancient temples made by Pandavas.
